Gallagher's Creative Schools 2011

Entries are invited for the 2011 Gallagher’s Creative Schools Award.

This award acknowledges the creativity of schools and innovation in an arts programme/project which has had positive outcomes for the school or wider community. NB. Arts refers to all genres of the arts: visual arts, dance, music, drama, film and literature. 

All entries will be judged by an independent judging panel using the criteria outlined on the following page.  First prize is $1000 for the winning school to spend on future creative projects.

Entries open on 1^st July 2011 and close on Friday 2 September 2011. Completed entries with must be at Arts Waikato office before 5.00pm Friday 2 September 2011.

No late entries accepted

Finalists will be notified by Wednesday September 14 2011.    If your art programme/ project is shortlisted as a finalist, we will require an A2 storyboard depicting your programme/project for display at the Waikato Community Arts Awards at Southwell School on Wednesday October 5 2011. The board will need to be visually appealing and is a great way to promote and show case the wonderful creative work your school is involved in.
