Artists - would you like to work in schools?
Arts Online http://arts.unitec.ac.nz/ is the Ministry of Education website which has recently launched CAFÉ (http://arts.unitec.ac.nz/arts-cafe/ <http://arts.unitec.ac.nz/arts-cafe/> ), an online brokering system to facilitate community artists wishing to work in schools.
Arts Online is currently encouraging artists to complete online profiles so that when the site is launched to schools next year, they have a good number of artists available.
Arts Online might also provide an opportunity for galleries etc to further promote their work and educational initiatives through eg the Arts Online calendar (http://arts.unitec.ac.nz/update/events/submit.php) or the discussion groups for the various Arts disciplines (http://arts.unitec.ac.nz/interact/).
